Who we are
MECH MOB is a single-player game made by AI Gamify Studios, the game studio of Curtis Hoffman. Curtis Hoffman owns AI Gamify Studios and its Google Play developer account, and is responsible for the app and for this policy. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean AI Gamify Studios and Curtis Hoffman.
This policy covers MECH MOB for Android, version 1.0.3, and later versions unless this page says otherwise.
Information we collect
None. MECH MOB does not collect, share or sell any personal information or device information. The app has no accounts and no sign-in, and it never asks for your name, email address, contacts, location, photos or any other personal details.
Nothing you do in the game is sent to us or to anyone else.
No advertising, analytics or tracking
MECH MOB contains no advertising, no analytics, no crash reporting and no tracking of any kind. It includes no third-party software development kits (SDKs) or libraries: all of the app’s code is our own. It does not use the Android advertising ID, and there are no in-app purchases.
No internet access
The app does not have Android’s internet permission, so it cannot send or receive anything over the internet. The whole game is installed on your device and plays offline.
The only permission MECH MOB asks Android for is vibration, which it uses for feedback during play. You can turn vibration off with VIBRATION in the game’s Settings.
The game runs inside Android’s built-in WebView component. We have set it up so it sends no WebView usage statistics and makes no Safe Browsing lookups.
Game progress is saved on your device
Your progress (completed levels, stars, best results and the tips you have seen) and your settings are saved only on your device, in the app’s private storage, where other apps cannot read them. We never receive this information.
Android automatic backup
MECH MOB allows Android’s standard backup. If backup is turned on for your device, Android may include the game’s saved progress and settings in your device backup, stored in your own Google account, so they can be restored on a new or reset device.
Those backups are created, stored and protected by Google under Google’s Privacy Policy. We cannot see or access them.
To stop the game’s data being backed up, turn off backup in your device’s settings (usually under Google or System, then Backup; the exact menu varies by device). You can review or delete existing device backups in your Google account.
How to delete your saved progress
Because your progress is stored only on your device, you control it:
- In the game: open Settings and choose RESET PROGRESS. This erases your progress.
- In Android settings: go to Settings, then Apps, then MECH MOB, then Storage, and choose Clear storage (names vary slightly by device). This erases your progress and settings.
- Uninstall the app: uninstalling MECH MOB removes all of its saved data from the device.
- Backups: copies in your Google account’s device backup are managed by Google, as described above.
We cannot restore deleted progress, because we never have a copy of it.
Google Play
Google Play handles downloads and updates of MECH MOB under Google’s own privacy policy. If you allow your device to share usage and diagnostics data with Google, Google may give us statistics about crashes and performance that do not identify you.
If you email us
If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply to you, we do not share it, and we delete it on request.
Children’s privacy
MECH MOB does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13 (or the minimum age that applies where you live). The app has no internet access, no accounts and no way for players to share information, so no child’s information is collected or shared through it.
If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, contact us at aigamifystudios@gmail.com and we will delete it.
Security
Because the app does not transmit information, nothing about you travels from the app over a network. Your saved progress stays in the app’s private storage, protected by Android’s app sandbox.
Every Android build of MECH MOB goes through automated checks that confirm it has no internet permission, no third-party code and no advertising, analytics or network code.
Your choices and rights
Because we do not collect or hold personal information through MECH MOB, there is no personal data for us to access, correct, export or delete. We do not sell or share personal information, including as those terms are used in California privacy law.
If you have a question or request about your privacy, email us and we will respond.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of MECH MOB changes how information is handled (for example, if advertising or online features are added), we will update this policy before that version is released, change the effective date at the top of this page, and update the app’s Data safety information on Google Play.
