The short version

  • The game collects no personal data and shares none.
  • No advertising, analytics, tracking or in-app purchases.
  • The game sends and receives nothing over the internet: every level is built in.
  • Your progress is saved only on your device, and you can delete it at any time.

Who we are

Truck Jam is a single-player puzzle game made by AI Gamify Studios, the game studio of Curtis Hoffman. Curtis Hoffman owns AI Gamify Studios and is responsible for the app and for this policy. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean AI Gamify Studios and Curtis Hoffman.

This policy covers Truck Jam for Android and iPhone, version 1.0.0, and later versions unless this page says otherwise.

Information we collect

None. Truck Jam does not collect, share or sell any personal information or device information. The game has no accounts and no sign-in, and it never asks for your name, email address, contacts, location, photos or any other personal details.

Nothing you do in the game is sent to us or to anyone else.

No advertising, analytics or tracking

Truck Jam contains no advertising, no analytics, no crash reporting and no tracking of any kind, and there are no in-app purchases. It does not use the Android advertising ID, and on iPhone it never asks to track you.

The only outside code in the app is the open-source framework that runs the game on your phone (Capacitor) and Android’s and Apple’s standard software libraries. None of it collects information for us or for anyone else.

Permissions and the internet

On Android, Truck Jam asks for two permissions:

  • Vibration, for feedback when you tap a truck. You can turn it off with Vibration in the game’s Settings.
  • Internet, a standard permission for the built-in web view that draws the game. The game itself does not use the internet: every level, picture and sound is inside the app, it sends and receives nothing over the internet, and it plays offline.

On iPhone, Truck Jam asks for no permissions.

Android’s built-in web view

On Android, the game runs inside Android System WebView, a component made and updated by Google. Depending on your device’s settings, the WebView may share anonymous usage and crash statistics with Google and may check web addresses with Google Safe Browsing. This is handled by Google under Google’s Privacy Policy; we do not receive any of it. The game only opens its own files, which are installed with the app.

Game progress is saved on your device

To save your game, Truck Jam keeps the following only on your device, in the app’s private storage, where other apps cannot read it:

  • your progress: the levels you have cleared, the stars you earned, the last level you played and the tips you have seen;
  • your play statistics for each level: time taken to clear it, bumps, restarts and hints used;
  • your settings: sound and vibration on or off.

This information never leaves your device through the game. We never receive it.

Device backups

Truck Jam allows your phone’s standard backup. If backup is turned on, your phone may include the game’s saved progress and settings in your device backup so they can be restored on a new or reset phone:

We cannot see or access these backups. To stop the game’s data being backed up, turn off backup in your phone’s settings.

How to delete your saved progress

Because your progress is stored only on your device, you control it:

  • In the game: open Settings and tap Reset progress, then tap again to confirm. This erases your progress and play statistics. Your sound and vibration settings are kept.
  • In Android settings: go to Settings, then Apps, then Truck Jam, then Storage, and choose Clear storage (names vary slightly by device). This erases everything the game has saved, including settings.
  • Uninstall the app: uninstalling Truck Jam (on iPhone, Delete App) removes all of its saved data from the device.
  • Backups: copies in your device backup are managed by Google or Apple, as described above.

We cannot restore deleted progress, because we never have a copy of it.

Google Play and the App Store

Google Play and Apple’s App Store handle downloads and updates of Truck Jam under their own privacy policies. If you allow your device to share usage and diagnostics data with Google or Apple, they may give us statistics about installs, crashes and performance that do not identify you.

If you email us

If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply to you, we do not share it, and we delete it on request.

Children’s privacy

Truck Jam is intended for players aged 13 and over. It does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13 (or the minimum age that applies where you live). The game has no accounts, no chat and no way for players to share information.

If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, contact us at aigamifystudios@gmail.com and we will delete it.

Security

Because the game does not transmit information, nothing about you travels from the game over a network. Your saved progress stays in the app’s private storage, protected by your phone’s app sandbox.

Every store build of Truck Jam goes through automated checks that confirm it contains no advertising code and, on Android, asks for no permissions beyond internet and vibration.

Your choices and rights

Because we do not collect or hold personal information through Truck Jam, there is no personal data for us to access, correct, export or delete. We do not sell or share personal information, including as those terms are used in California privacy law.

If you have a question or request about your privacy, email us and we will respond.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of Truck Jam changes how information is handled (for example, if advertising or online features are added), we will update this policy before that version is released, change the effective date at the top of this page, and update the game’s privacy information on Google Play and the App Store.
